Blue Heron Catering with twenty years’ experience in the Valley provides both on-site and off-site catering services. The Blue Heron Restaurant is located in a beautifully renovated 150 year old Town Hall building and offers one of the most well-appointed, unique yet comfortable spaces available in the Pioneer Valley. We are conveniently situated 10 minutes from Amherst, 15 minutes from Northampton, and 2 miles from Route 91. We offer multiple locations for catered events: the Great Room, the Private Dining Room on the second floor, the Bistro, and the Outdoor Patio. For larger parties, we offer the option of renting the entire restaurant for events up to 250 people.
Blue Heron Catering will design a menu specifically for your event. However, please feel free to look at our sample menus take a look at some sample menus below to get an idea of what we can offer you. Included in the price of your event is our complete planning service. We will assist you in arranging for flowers, music, favors, and invitations. We will take care of any necessary rentals including linens, glassware, and tents for off-site events.
The Bistro, located on the first floor, has large windows overlooking the patio and a view of the kitchen in action. This space can accommodate parties of 30–50 and is available for all types of events. Rental of the entire first floor (including the Lounge and Bistro) is also an option for an additional fee.
Our Patio is also available for catered events. It is the perfect space for hors d’oeuvres before a dinner in the Great Room or Bistro, or can accommodate up to 40 guests for a sit-down dinner or buffet.
